I am from the Detroit area and I will tell you, The surrounding area was the pits, like projects, low income, gangs and groups of loud people sceaming at me and my 4 girls. We did not stay at this hotel for I was afraid It was 9 o'clock and getting dark, Not a nice area as discribed in ads and on Hot Wire . Be careful, they would not refund my money as of yet. They are investigating. Pay the extra your life is worth it. Staff was rude when I called to cancel. Angel the mgr. said they lock the door at 10 and have security. Come on People. this is not a safe area to be in. Be careful.
